Proposal Review Process
Proposals are typically reviewed by at least three experts. Individual reviews, panel reviews or a combination of both may be used. After carefully examining a proposal, Genesee Shiawassee Michigan Works! (GSMW!) identifies experts and solicits their reviews electronically. The Director of Workforce Training presents a summary of the peer reviewers’ findings and recommendations to the President and CEO of GSMW! Peer findings are used at GSMW! to help create an award portfolio to be forwarded to the Genesee Shiawassee Workforce Development Board. GSMW! seeks a balanced program/project award portfolio that is appropriate to the universe of proposals submitted.
